Who We Are

Join Seaba!

Become a member

What? You’re not a member of the South End Arts and Business Association (SEABA)?

With individual memberships starting at just $35, there is no reason that you can’t immediately begin to feel good about supporting the arts in your community.

Plus, you’ll enjoy a number of benefits and special events that aren’t available for just anyone. Well okay...all of our events are open to the public, but you’ll hear about them first.

Here’s what we’re up to besides the Art Hop:

Flamingo Fling

Every June, we hold our annual membership meeting. No stuffy affair, some of our top local artists decorate pink plastic lawn flamingos and they are sold to top bidders to help us raise money for our programs. We usually fire up the grill, have a few drinks, make a chocolate sculpture and have a lot of fun.

Monthly e-mail Newsletter

Classes, Events, Discounts, etc.

Our members get the first notice of many classes, special events, discounts, calls-to-artists, spaces for rent and other cool things
happening at our member businesses, galleries and studios.

Business Workshops

We bring together leaders in our business community to offer their experience and brainpower on topics of interest to small business. How to market your web site, guerilla marketing techniques and how to wrangle media coverage are just a few of the topics we have presented in the past. Get involved as a presenter or suggest a topic.

Portfolio Project

Become an instant art collector or add significant value to your existing collection while you help SEABA grow. Our curator, Mark Waskow, assembled a top-notch portfolio of ten local artists. The value has increased significantly since it was created but the purchase price has remained the same. Now how many investments can claim that? Inquire with Mr. Waskow or the SEABA staff.
